I had a big dream, and it was a murder board.

However, there were a few things in my way. First, my vision was a cross between a beautiful floor to ceiling wall of cork, and an actual incident room in a homicide department. Sadly, I am not going to be allowed entry into that world here in Berlin, and our flat is a rental. So this exact version, with cork mounted directly on the wall, was out:

However, I wasn’t going to give up that easily. The cork panels from the company in the Netherlands (lefthand picture) were about 15 Euro each, so I ordered three, thinking I could hang them to create a 1 x 1.5 meter space of cork heaven above the little writing table I have in the corner.
